Gees, that was a bit tricky. I had to use my own language and words/sounds that were similar to help me through.
Wow! Kite Pai Uheina for creating such a cool quiz and Mrs Faalili for answering all the questions. You will get a chocolate once we get back to school.
Kia Ora Mrs Faalili, I was really surprised to see your answers and mostly all of the questions are correct! I love how you have predicted the last one and the sixth one that you were close with was 'sleep well'. You did a great job.
Kia Ora Uheina, I was intrigued by #3 and when I searched a translation realised how slight changes made in Te Reo can, like changes made in other languages, quite change the meaning. Thank you for putting this together and helping me learn. Best wishes, Mr Victor
I loved when we dis this on the class call. I got 4 points. I found it a bit hard. Did you use google translate? How did you come up with the questions?
Great quiz Uheina. I will have to do some research so I can answer your questions. Mrs Vaevae
ReplyDeleteThanks, have a research about it and you may find more about Te Reo Maori. Have an awesome day.
