Kia ora I have completed my cybersmart challenge. It took me a long time to finish it because I had to find the docs, slides and google draws to complete this task.

Cybersmart Challenge: Replying to comments

Task explanation:

Today this task was to complete it and reply to comments on our blog. The three things we needed to include in our comments is a thank you, an answer and a question. Today Mokoia commented on my blog on the concept circle which was a perfect timing because I needed to reply to a comment to complete this task.

Scams and Phishing

Task explanation:

Kia ora everyone today this is our new cybersmart challenge and it was about scamming and phishing. You need to be careful when you are on your device because there are some silly ads, pop-ups and some websites that are asking for your personal information. You could get an email about winning a prize or something and they will ask for your email or something from your personal information. Be careful since it's lockdown a lot of people are online so stay safe.

How to be Cyber-Smart

 

Task explanation:

In our cybersmart learning we are setting tips for those who need to be cybersmart or to show how to be cybersmart. You should always be careful online because there are some dangerous people but some can be safe online. Just be aware being online because a lot of hackers can find it easier for them to hack us since a lot of people are online of the cause of lockdown. Stay safe and be cybersmart.

Commenting on docs

 

Task explanation:

For this task we had to make a comment on a random fact, comment a suggestion for a synonym of a word, write a positive, thoughtful, helpful comment and add in an action request for a friend. On top you can see my screenshots of my work. I found this task to be so fun and I learnt how easy it is to use commenting in google docs.

Cybersmart Challenge: My favourite wonder of the world

Task Description:

In cybersmart learning we did a challenge to use google earth to see our favourite place in the world. Mine is Rainbows End, I know theres more places in the world but I would love to visit Rainbows End again with my family. We needed to calculate how long it will take to get there from your home to your destination. It would take 19 minutes to get to Rainbows End from my house to there.

Google Meet Ready

For cybersmart learning we did a task called 'Google Meet Ready'. It was simple to do, Nadal and I worked on it together but blogged it separately. I hope you learn something from these slides and remember to do the right thing when you are on your google meets.

Guess who I met today

I met Jimin from BTS. I went to KFC and I saw him looking at the KFC logo. He was really nice and he ordered food for me. After that we went, we had a great time together. 

Task Description:

In cybersmart we did something fun with Mr Goodwin since this is the last cybersmart task for this term. We needed to choose a famous celebrity and find a place where we will meet in Glen Innes. The cybersmart task was fun and I am looking forward to see what our next cybersmart task will be next term.

Task Description:

In cybersmart our task was to do a digital footprint. We needed to check our history and see what we have been doing on our chromebooks by pressing ctrl h. 

Matariki Digital Tasks

 

Task Description:

Cybersmart Challenge: What we Share

Task Description:

For today's task was to complete each slide and to place the information from the list to the right in the correct column. Remember to be cybersmart and leave a good cybersmart foot print.

My "What if." Writing

Task Description:

We had a writing challenge, to write short stories on a random topic. The teacher gave us a what if situation and we only had 15 minutes to complete it. We wrote about ourselves being sucked into a movie. I chose Insidious because I thought it would be interesting to write about, this is the finished product. My favourite that I wrote was when I got possessed and scared my parents away.
